The installer is not yet digitally signed. Windows SmartScreen may warn when you run it: choose "More info", then "Run anyway". Smart App Control, on Windows 11, does not warn: while it is on it blocks an unsigned installer outright and Windows allows no exception for a single program, so it has to be turned off in Windows Security, under App & browser control, before installing.
All daily work runs on your laboratory's computer, and the database lives on that same computer. The internet is for optional services only.
A perpetual licence for this computer that never expires. If you replace the computer, press "Move this licence to another computer" in the program: it gives you a code to read to us, and we release your same serial for the new computer.
Analyser connection is included, with no fee per analyser and no limit on how many: over the serial port (ASTM and HL7) and over the network (HL7 and text). With an activated licence your laboratory gets a website under its own name at yourlab.claruslis.com, free for the first year, where a patient reads their report by QR code.
The program prints the whole report with your laboratory's logo, name, contact details and address, so no pre-printed paper is needed. It ends with three signature places: an uploaded signature or a blank line to sign by hand.
From your previous program (Access or SQL Server) you bring over patients, visits, results, your test names and their reference ranges from inside the program, and it shows you the counts before it writes anything.

The program then runs for 14 days with every module. If you already have a purchased serial, type it here, or activate it later from the licence screen inside the program. The installer then copies the program and the database, and creates a private database for your laboratory.
The program opens in its own window on the same computer, and the first time it asks for your laboratory's name and details, which are what prints on every report.

If the laboratory computer is not connected, open claruslis.com/activate on any phone and enter the serial number, and the installation code and machine fingerprint the licence screen shows (the activation page calls it the hardware fingerprint). Then download the activation file, carry it to the laboratory computer (a USB stick will do) and load it with "Import activation file" on the licence screen. One serial activates one computer.
