A wizard inside the program reads one specific program's database directly (its Access .mdb file, or its SQL Server backup) with neither of them installed, brings across patients, visits, results and your test catalogue with its names, reference ranges and packages, and shows the counts before it writes anything. If yours is a different program, our team moves your data with you from CSV or Excel files.
Analyzer connection, included in the licence
With no fee per device and no limit on their number: over the serial port (ASTM and HL7) and over the network (HL7 and text). The result goes from the analyzer to the patient's file without being typed again.
Reports that carry your laboratory's identity
The program prints the whole report itself, with your laboratory's logo, name, contact details and address in the header and three signature places at the end. It prints on the laboratory's printer or downloads as a PDF file.

Will I lose my data if the computer fails?
The program takes a backup automatically every day, checks each backup after taking it, and can copy it automatically to a second drive the laboratory names, such as a USB drive. You can also rehearse a real restore of a backup from inside the program, into a temporary database that never touches your data.

If your program is the one named on the "Moving from your previous program" page, you move its data yourself from inside Clarus: it reads that program's database directly, with neither Access nor SQL Server installed, and shows you the counts it found before it writes anything.
