A new way to connect medical laboratories: the manager's phone and the laboratory's branches reach it from anywhere, with no fixed address, no open ports, no router setup and no technician, and the connection is encrypted end to end so that no one on the way can read it, not even us.
For a branch or a phone to reach a laboratory from outside its network, you usually need a fixed address from the internet provider, a port opened on the router in front of a server that holds patient data, or a VPN that a technician sets up and looks after. Monthly costs, setup that repeats with every change, and a door open to the internet. Clarus Link does away with all of it.
When you switch Clarus Link on inside the program, your laboratory's server makes an encrypted outgoing connection to it, so not a single port is opened to the internet in your laboratory.
The manager's phone or the branch connects to Clarus Link the same way, from any network: home, office or mobile data.
Clarus Link joins the two ends, and the connection stays encrypted end to end with your laboratory's own certificate, so the Clarus intermediary server reads none of it and holds no key.
If your laboratory has an address the phone can reach directly, the phone uses it; otherwise it goes through Clarus Link, and returns to the direct way by itself as soon as it can. And if Clarus Link stops for any reason, your laboratory keeps working as it is, and access through its own address keeps working where it is set up.
