What the program covers
Reception and orders
Register the patient and choose from a catalogue of 1,300 tests, 202 of them enabled at installation and the rest whenever the laboratory wants, then record the payment, and any discount, on the same order.
Samples and barcodes
Each sample moves from collection and receipt to the verified result, and each step is recorded as staff perform it. You design the label: its size, barcode and fields.
Analyzer integration included
Serial analyzers in ASTM or HL7, network analyzers in HL7 or delimited text, with no per-device fee and no limit on their number.
Reports with your identity
Your logo, name and address in the header, three signature places and a PDF copy, so no pre-printed paper is needed.
Microbiology, inventory and quality
38 organisms and 95 antibiotics with S/I/R and MIC, stock by lot and expiry date, and Westgard quality-control rules.
Updates free for life
The program checks for updates by itself. You download and install one with two clicks, and a copy is kept to roll back to.
Growing with your laboratory
Link your laboratory's computers and branches, included in your licence
The computers of one branch work on one database over the laboratory's own network, with no internet; branches in different places are linked over the internet.
Manage your laboratory from anywhere
Follow your laboratory's work while you are away from it: the program opens from outside the laboratory through the way the laboratory switches on from inside, with two-step verification, and once your laboratory has published its website, patients read their released reports by QR code from anywhere.

What is the difference between a LIS and general accounting software?
A LIS is built around the laboratory: orders, samples, results, reference ranges, reports and analyzers. Billing is part of it, not the whole of it.
Does it need the internet?
Not for daily work. The internet is used only for optional services: online activation (a phone can be used instead), updates, the laboratory website and patient QR results, and sending WhatsApp, SMS or email messages.
Does it suit a small laboratory?
Yes. There is one edition with no feature tiers, so every copy has the same modules, and several people can work on the licensed computer with no limit on user accounts.
Can I link my branches?
Yes. Linking your laboratory's computers and branches is included in your licence: through your own routes, or through Clarus Link, available today to every copy, licensed or in its trial, both with no fee from us.
